What do most people want? Most people want success, wealth, and prosperity. Why? To do the things they really want to do, be the person they really want to be, and live the life they really want to live. But too often life’s challenges get in the way.
What if I told you that there’s a solution to meeting life’s challenges. The answer may surprise you. It’s simple. By becoming your ideal self.
Becoming your ideal self doesn’t mean changing the core of who you are but creating a better version of yourself.
Here’s how.
First, make a list of the real you. Keep it real and raw! Talk about the good, the bad and the ugly! Details, details, details! For example, lazy, angry, bitter, distracted, dependent, but you also may be kind and hard working,
List as much as you can think of. Honestly!
Then, make a list of the ideal you the way you imagine yourself. The person you really want to be. Take your time and really imagine yourself living the life you really want and deserve.
For example, ambitious, rich, driven, motivated, achiever, a certain lifestyle, married, educated, financially empowered, etc…
Why does it matter? It matters because most people want to live an extraordinary life but too often settle for the lesser hand they’ve been dealt or they have hit a barrier to what they want and don’t have the tools they need to go get it.
Regardless of the situation, often the biggest barriers to getting what we want, is ourselves. But it doesn’t have to be that way.
You see, growing up, you may not have received the devotion, inspiration, motivation, encouragement or empowerment needed to be the best version of yourself. But that’s ok. The List of 12 Things are a resource to help you achieve it.
Next, do people still use flowcharts? I think they are called diagrams now. I know they made my job a whole lot easier. But one day my car was broken into and my briefcase was stolen with all my paperwork. I felt lost.
This is where I understood the importance of a framework and how it makes all the difference in fulfilling a goal, being who you want to be, or in creating the life you desire.
Using that analogy, let’s create your ideal self. When you become your ideal self, anything is possible.
That being said, here’s the list of 12 things as a contribution to helping you become the person you need to be to live a more enriched and empowered life.
And go!
1. Care – You need to have an element of urgency about yourself. Learn to give a damn about who you are, who you want to become, what you want to do, when you want to do it, and how you plan to get it done. Not in a selfish greedy kind of way but in a self-care kind of way.
Don’t wait for others to care about what you want or need. The truth is, nobody cares. Everyone is wrapped up in their own agenda.
I’m here because it pays to give unto others what we ourselves require. In other words, to be what I needed most when I was younger because it makes a difference. Being honest here.
Why? Because we only get this one life. Get clear on what you need, so that the outcome is what you want for your life. Until you care enough about yourself you cannot genuinely help others with what they need most.
2. Clarity – Get clear on who you are, who you want to become and what you want to do. You are a collection of your thoughts, feelings and beliefs, as well as your skills and ideas.
Find out what clouds your vision so you can clear it up.
This could include outside influences such as people, substance abuse, what you believe in, or lack of vision. Things that reflect the real you. Go to your list.
Nevertheless, if you can imagine it, you can become it. However, you don’t have your whole life to figure things out. Therefore, focus on your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and what you want most out of life.
That said, you must know what you need to get what you want. Clarity is key. None the less, clarity is a problem for many people and impacts the way they communicate. Communication impacts success, wealth, and prosperity.
Master Clarity for the best Communications but also note that everything is rooted in fear.
Thus, inner peace contributes to clarity. Clarity helps remove all blockages to self-expression. Clearing blockages to self-expression allows for the best communication.
3. Communication – is best rooted in clarity. In other words, it is important to know what you are talking about. Communication is self-expression but can be a challenge for a lot of people on a personal and professional level.
As I mentioned above, everything is rooted in fear. Lose the fear of self-expression and Communication will flow naturally and open doors in ways you never thought possible
When you can clearly and profoundly get your message across, people believe in you, they trust you, and they listen to you. And they will spend money with you if you own a business or sell a product.
If you can get people to listen, it gives you a fighting chance to get what you want, be what you want, do what you want, and help others do the same.
Furthermore, the ultimate high-income skill to learn is Communication. Good communication is the ability to deliver a message and people get it!
Nevertheless, it’s not always about the content, it’s mainly about the delivery. YOU! Businesses nor ideas fail, people do!
4. Confidence– You are who you think you are. If you don’t think highly of yourself, no one else will.
Confidence is knowing who you are, defining your purpose, and living life on your own terms regardless of how others think you should be living or what you should be doing.
Confidence is humble but also motivated.
5. Courage – Fear is a learned behavior. Fear is at the root of everything. Fear becomes a habit and can be as bad as addiction. Face your fears with courage because the only other option is failure.
Courage is your pathway to the other side of the mountain. Believe in your ability to achieve what you set out to achieve. Believe in your ability to become the person you need to become to live the life you want to live.
Acknowledge and admit your fears and they will melt away like water. It is when you resist fear that it consumes you.
Too often life becomes what we fear most. Therefore, acknowledge fear but then let it go and embrace courage.
6. Connection – Who are your supporters? Who is your tribe? Who are the people who believe in you? Find them. Support them. Network with them. Believe in them. Inspire, motivate, encourage and empower them. Find out what they want and help them get it. Whatever barrier or challenges they face, help them get through it.
You need the support of your tribe. Lean in!
7. Creativity – Be an original. Design a program, system or plan for your life that is unique to you. This way, it cannot be duplicated. You do this by becoming for others what you needed most when you were younger.
Your unique story is your unique design which is your Creativity. Your creativity is your list of 12 things that you need to become your ideal self.
8. Contribution – This is the value you bring to the global marketplace. Your contribution is you sharing your unique design with the world as a solution to unique challenges
In other words, with your list of 12 things, you’ve solved your own problems and can now sell the solution.
If it is your plan to use the list to generate income, you can package it as a course, a program, a workshop, a book, or use it in a paid seminar.
9. Character– Stand on integrity, ethics, values, and choices. A list of core characteristics can include, focus, discipline, integrity, marketability, emotional intelligence, and planning to name a few.
Character is who you are when times get tough and you make the right decision.
10. Commitment – Marry your intention. Stay with it for better or worse but know when to let go and move on.
11. Consistency – Following through can lead to success, wealth, and prosperity. Be consistent in your endeavor and people will trust you and want to invest time and money with you.
12. Class – How you dress, how you speak, how you act, how you interact with people, how you eat, how you walk into a room, how you think and behave, etc…
Class is all about how you present yourself to the world. Attitude and behavior is everything! So, have some CLASS!
That is HOW you do it!🌿💋💌
